Privacy Policy — Arrow Zoo: Escape & Rescue
This Privacy Policy explains how Amit Debnath, an individual developer operating as
LiteMind Studio ("we", "us"), handles information when you play Arrow Zoo:
Escape & Rescue (the "Game") on Android, available on Google Play (package
com.litemindstudio.arrowzoo). It explains what data is collected, why, who receives
it, how long it is kept and the choices you have. It is written to meet Google Play's
requirements and laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, US state privacy laws (including California's
CCPA/CPRA) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
The Game is for players aged 18 and over.

1. Who we are
The Game is made by Amit Debnath, an individual developer in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, who publishes games and apps as LiteMind Studio (not a registered company). We are responsible for the data handling described here.
Contact: support@litemindstudio.com · https://litemindstudio.com — we reply within 30 days.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
The Game has no sign-up, login or in-game form. If you email us at support@litemindstudio.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write or attach, and use it only to answer you.
2.2 Information stored on your device
The Game saves your progress on your phone: levels cleared, stars, coins, animals rescued in My Zoo, Daily Rescue streak, settings (sound, vibration, grid lines), tutorial and intro cards seen, and whether you bought "Remove ads". We don't upload this data ourselves; it leaves your device only through cloud save (section 2.4) or Android backup. Uninstalling the Game deletes it.
Android backup: if you have turned on Android's own backup to your Google account, Android may include the Game's progress and settings in that backup. This is controlled by you in Android settings and handled by Google, not by us.
2.3 Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
We use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Remote Config to understand how the Game is played, fix crashes, and tune difficulty and ad pacing without an app update.
| Data | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| App activity | levels started, completed, failed or quit; time on a level; taps and bumps; hints and continues used; settings changed; ads offered and watched; purchase started or completed | Game balancing, finding levels that are too hard or too easy, improving the Game |
| Summary values | your level range, Daily Rescue streak range, whether sound is on, whether you use Play Games, your device's memory class | Comparing groups of players, for example on low-memory phones |
| Install source | the store or campaign the Game was installed from (Google Play install referrer) | Knowing which listings and campaigns bring players |
| App info and performance | crash logs, stack traces, app version, how long a level took to build | Fixing bugs and crashes |
| Device and identifiers | device model, Android version, language, country or region (from the IP address), Firebase app-instance and installation IDs; the Android advertising ID where your consent settings allow it | Counting players, measuring retention, analytics, and running the services |
We do not use this data to identify you personally. How long it is kept is set out in section 9.
2.4 Google Play Games Services (optional)
If you sign in to Google Play Games, Google shares your Play Games profile (gamer name and avatar) with the Game and stores your achievements, leaderboard scores and cloud save (your progress file) in your Google account. Leaderboard scores may be visible to other players as set in your Play Games settings. You can play without signing in. You manage or delete this data in the Google Play Games app (Profile → Settings).
2.5 Advertising (Google AdMob)
To show any ad, Google AdMob may collect your advertising ID, IP address, device information and ad interactions to show, measure and (where allowed) personalise ads, and to prevent fraud. On Android versions that support it, Google's ads software may also use Android's own ad privacy features (Topics and attribution reporting), which you control in Android's ad privacy settings. How the ads work in the Game is described in section 4.
2.6 Purchases (Google Play Billing)
"Remove ads" is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment card or bank details. Google tells the Game that the purchase is owned so it can remove the ads; we receive order information (such as an order ID, price and country) in Google Play Console for accounting, refunds and tax.
2.7 Device features and permissions
The Game asks for no permissions that need your approval: no location, contacts, camera, microphone or storage access.
- Vibration: haptic feedback when you play. You can turn it off in Settings.
- Internet and network status: for ads, analytics, crash reports, Play Games and purchases. Levels are made on your device, so the puzzles themselves don't need a connection.
- Google Play Billing: for the "Remove ads" purchase.
- Advertising ID and Android ad services: added by Google's ads software (section 2.5).
- Background work: Google's libraries may briefly keep the device awake to finish sending analytics or crash reports.
4. Ads and ad-supported features
The Game is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob:
- A banner at the bottom of the screen.
- Full-screen ads between levels.
-
Optional rewarded ads ("Watch a short ad"), which you choose to watch for:
- a hint that shows an arrow that can fly off now (hints can also be paid for with coins you earn by playing);
- "Keep going" after a failed level: one more heart, or 20 more seconds on a timed level;
- double coins at the end of a level.
A reward is given only after the ad finishes. Rewarded ads are offered only when an ad is ready, which needs an internet connection; we cannot guarantee that one is always available.
The "Remove ads" purchase turns off the banner and the full-screen ads between levels. Rewarded ads stay available, because you choose to watch them.
5. Third-party services
| Service | Purpose | Data handled | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Show and measure ads | Device info, IP address, ad interactions; advertising ID where allowed | Whenever an ad is requested |
| Google User Messaging Platform | Ask for and store your consent | Consent choice, device info | In the EEA, UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws |
| Firebase Analytics | Understand how the Game is played | Events, summary values, install source, device and locale info, app-instance ID | While you play |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Find and fix crashes | Crash traces, device model, Android version, installation ID | When the Game crashes or records an error |
| Firebase Remote Config | Tune difficulty and ad pacing without an app update | Installation ID, app version, device language and country | When the Game starts |
| Google Play Games Services | Sign-in, achievements, leaderboards, cloud save | Play Games profile, scores, achievements, your save file | Only if you sign in |
| Google Play Billing | The "Remove ads" purchase | Order details (we never see payment details) | When you buy or restore the purchase |

- Contract: delivering the "Remove ads" purchase you bought.
- Your request: answering emails you send us.
8. How information is shared
- Service providers: data is shared only with the Google services in section 5.
- Legal compliance: we may disclose information if the law requires it.

10. International transfers
Google's servers are located worldwide, including in the United States. Transfers take place under legally recognised safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. Security
Data is sent to Google's services over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use the protections provided by Google's platforms and keep the data we handle to a minimum.
12. Age requirement
The Game is intended for players aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
The Game has no accounts and never asks your age, so we cannot tell who is under 18. If someone under 18 has played the Game:
- Emails sent to us: if we learn they came from someone under 18, we will delete them promptly.
- Data on the device: remove it by uninstalling the Game.
- Play Games data: cloud save, achievements and scores can be deleted in the Google Play Games app.
- Analytics, crash and advertising data held by Google: we cannot identify or delete one person's records (see section 13.3). It is deleted automatically after the periods in section 9.
13. Your choices and rights
13.1 Privacy choices
- Settings → Privacy options (shown where Google's controls apply, such as the EEA, UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws): review or change your consent and ad choices.
- Android ad settings: reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads.
- "Remove ads": turns off the banner and the full-screen ads between levels.
- Play Games: the Game works without signing in.
13.2 Data on your device
Uninstalling the Game, or clearing its storage in Android settings, removes the progress stored on your phone. Cloud save, achievements and scores stay in your Play Games account until you delete them in the Google Play Games app.
13.3 Analytics, crash and advertising data held by Google
We cannot find or delete one person's analytics, crash or advertising records: the Game has no accounts, and this data is not linked to your name, email address or Google account. What you can do:
- Limit new data: where the consent form is shown, withdraw consent in Settings → Privacy options.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings, so past advertising data is no longer linked to your device.
- Let old data expire: it is deleted automatically after the periods in section 9.
- Ask us: email support@litemindstudio.com. We will reply within 30 days and explain what we hold and what we can and cannot do.
13.4 General rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing), the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to use these rights. Because we don't collect your name or email, we usually cannot link records held by Google to you (see section 13.3).
14. Additional regional disclosures
14.1 GDPR (EEA and UK)
See section 7 for our legal bases. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy options.
14.2 US state privacy laws (California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and others)
We do not sell personal information for money. Personalised ads may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under these laws. You can opt out in Settings → Privacy options, or in your Android ad settings. You also have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information. Contact support@litemindstudio.com.
14.3 India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023)
You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. For any grievance about how your data is handled, contact our grievance officer:
Amit Debnath — support@litemindstudio.com — we respond within 30 days.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game or the law changes. The new version will be posted at this address with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be announced in the Game or on the Google Play listing.
